Reading a suggeted list
These are writings or books that have helped me grow and stay aware over the years - I find that different sources for truth are where we find more knowing because we searched for ourselves.
I always told my children that I know God is real and spirit, but it is something each person must seek and experience on thier own.
There is such a big difference between knowing and emotional feelings....
Some things just make us feel so good, they may not be the truth or the whole truth however we love the ideal the emotional high and we stop....
I never stopped questioning God, I cared to much to not question him about what man was telling me....
So take a look at something that when it moves you subtly or slightly disturbs you you are on the right track...
Knowing has no emtional backing, it just is.
The List:
The Gospel of Thomas, you can find it on line at the Gnostic Society Library under The Nag Hammadi Library - it is suppose to be the actual only known words of Christ recorded.....100 plus things that his disciples asked and he answered....perhaps the most wonderful thing I read, these were alot of the questions I asked a many minister at many different churches, it took years to find the answers on my own, one minister finely said " Lori we can not answer your questions."
The Journals by RT Stone book 1
an interesting read that explores the full circle of coinsidences, acts and reactions, ect...
The Last Day by Glen Kleier
Another good read about Christ coming back and everyone missing it, for Christ was a woman...interesting, especially after you read the gospel of Thomas
Das Energi by Paul Williams... this book is great when you know you need a wake up call, if you are stuck on your path, cussing and very to the point, not for the light of heart...
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay....our thoughts create our illnesses...I keep 2 copies in the house including a quick reference book in coffee table.
The Celestine Prophecy series....even have the work book by James Redfield
Fidjorn....by the original creators of this beautiful gardens in Scottland, how they started out and gained the information they needed to build one of the biggest and most hardy gardens in the world on a sand bar...
the Mystical, Magical, Marvelous World of Dreams by Wilda B. Tanner... a great dream interpretation book, pick any book of symbols you like I find this one easiest to follow, you must always remember that everything in a dream is an aspect of self....I keep this one by my desk to interpret as soon as I wake up.
These are my top dogs....:) There are so many and I have read 100's of them, these were my picks, check them out or find some of your own....when in doubt wait for the right one to fall off the shelf before you, that will be the one for you.
